Upgrade Extreme

Progress: 28,595 G
Goal 1: 30,000 G (95.31%)

Recently Accomplished:
100% Ninety-Nine Nights

YES! N3 is completely finished, at last. This brings my total retail complete to 12, and arcade to 2, topping it at 14 completed games. It was a 4-hour long struggle to finish three seperate careers at 5 A.M. on Dec. 19th, but I made it. I feel like a giant weight has been lifted!

Now, to more recent news. MONEY! I finally recieved my loan check from college for roughly $700, and boy did it go fast. I paid off my outstanding debts, roughly $140, and stopped by at BME for a good game hunt. I ended up dropping $52 for Star Ocean: The Last Hope, Rayman Raving Rabbids (3R), and Dead or Alive Xtreme 2. Feeling kind of spendy even after those two events, I wanted to stop by Wal-Mart and see if I could grab a new computer mouse/keyboard. That's when a sleek $100 15" computer monitor caught Faith's eye. I was ready to buy it, given that I am currently using an ANCIENT Sepctrum 7 Glr. If you don't know, google it. After a few seconds of hype, Faith mentioned; "Lets go look at TVs!" , because I am also using a very ancient 17" RCA CRT. Being very, very outdated, I agreed. It's been hard to read these new games so I was down for an upgrade.

Lo and behold, a shiny $298 Vizio struck us both as the right choice, and as spontaneous as it comes, we bought the damn thing. And boy, I have no regrets. I also picked up 4,000 Microsoft Points, and Faith agreed with split Dragon Age: Origins with me, which she is currently beasting on our new TV. I also got the mouse I came for, but not the keyboard :)

So I've added four new games, and the possibility for games I currently own (such as The Last Remnant) because of the more clear TV. With the MSP, I bought Crystal Defenders, Assault Heros, Galaga, updated my Avatar with some new gear, Resident Evil 5's 'Versus Mode' DLC, a new Koenisegg CCX for Need For Speed: ProStreet, and still left with about 1,600 MSP. I'll probably get a few more arcade games, or Dragon Age's DLC if it seems worthy. Cheers & New Years!

P.S.: I've cut Infinite Undiscovery from my goals, because I want to enjoy the game a bit more considering I powerhoused all three playthroughs in about a week. So I'll stretch that achievement out. Until next time!
